IMAXIO chose Illumina platform for DNA samples genotying by using two technologies, the Infinium HD technology and the GoldenGate technology.

Infinium HD technology

Standard assays

The high throughput platform enables to assay 300 000 to 5 millions markers on hundred or thousand samples in a short time, which fits with the most common genotyping projects needs. Many Infinium HD BeadChips are available for human sample analysis allowing the characterization of frequent and rare (to a 1% allelic frequency) variants identified in the 1000 Genomes projects, for other animal or plant species.

Custom assays

iSelect HD Custom Genotyping enables more specific studies dedicated to human SNPs characterization involved in biological processes, to other animal, plant or prokaryote species. We can assist you in designing custom SNPs panel.

GoldenGate technology

You choose Standard GoldenGate technology or custom assay for genotyping SNPs from 48 up to 3072 markers.
